Winter Break

Am I boring?
I've been wondering this for a little bit. It seems that many friends can't hang out during break with me. I dunno. Maybe they think that since I don't drink I'm boring? I dunno. I have been able to hang out with some people, but others seem busy when I ask them if they want to hang out, even if I say I'm up to whatever. I dunno.

On a lighter side, the Winter Warm Up went great!!! We had 300+ people show up at Pioneer Square Mall and sing Let It Snow and Jingle Bells, and I was on TV!!!! That was pretty cool.

I also just finished my letter to Yuka's parents thanking them for letting me stay. I've waited so long cause I wanted it to be good, and all in Japanese. Thankfully Yuka was able to help me too :) Japanese is hard!!!!

I'm really looking forward to Christmas!! I don't have much money, but I'm gonna make something for my friends... ^_^

That's about it for now!!!

Left 4 Dead is fun :P

Times of fun, Avatar, and a totally baked dude

Lots of fun!!!
The last couple of days, I've been able to hang out with Yuka and Asato, along with this dude Tetsuya. A few days ago, we went up to Vista Point (though it was crazy foggy). After that, we went to Multnomah falls, and walked to the top. There were many icy spots, and often hard to walk through, but it was a lot of fun! After that we went to my house and made pancakes. Soooo good!!!! We then went to play Uno. We had a lot of fun.

I just saw Avatar in 3D at the midnight showing. It was really good!!! You should see it. I'll see it again if you like, whoever you are :)

Okay, so this crazy thing happened after the movie. It's like 330 in the morning, and we are on the freeway heading home. We saw a van that had just crashed. Literally, it had to have been seconds before we got there. We pulled over, and I ran out to help the guy. He was bleeding a little and his air bags blew. He was okay, and we were just gonna get him off the freeway, but he asked us to take him home. The thing was, he was totally high on marijuana. We took him home, and he could barely talk, smelled really bad, and even offered some to us. After we dropped them off, I called the cops, and they were confused where the driver of the abandoned van had gone, so that was good. But yeah, pray for that guy.

I'm so sleepy... It's 4:11 in the morning...

Go to Pioneer Square Mall at 1pm this Saturday!!!

Ice and Airplanes

Yup, it's official. Backroads are tricky. Covered so much in black ice!! It made delivering kind of interesting, but I'd rather have normal roads.
Today I took Jenny to the airport, and tomorrow I'm taking Cher. I've taken at least a dozen friends to the airport to see them off, all very close, and I've never cried. But I'm really gonna miss my dear sister... :(
Not having school has been pretty nice. It's nice to see Yuka again, haven't been able to hang out with her in forever! And when Yumi is back, we're all gonna go to linner (lunch/dinner) together, and that's gonna be SO fun.
I'm sleepy... I am even more busy right after finals.
O! And there was a crazy story about Wednesday which is actually kind of entertaining. I'll leave that for next time, and yes Angela, I'll do it soon :)

Crazyness of the end of fall term

Cold weather. Very very cold weather lately...
Makes me really not like public transportation.

I'm working on a final essay for Pop Culture on Marooned! How awesome is that?! In no other class could I do that I think. I've had a lot of fun in that class, so if anyone is looking for a Soph. Inq. class to do, I recommend that one.

Everyone is busy with studying for finals. I can really see the stress getting to some of my friends. I want to be able to help cheer them up more, but I'm not sure how...

We're having a dinner for Cher and Kelly since they are leaving really soon (kind of Nat too, but she's just going up to Seattle ha ha). Dinner at the Deschuttes' Brewery, it's gonna be so good! I'm really gonna miss my dear sis!!!

I'm super excited for the Generation Unleashed conference at the end of January!!! It's gonna be SSSSOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! If anyone actually reads this, you should go!!!

O yeah, Thanksgiving vacation was CRAZY but still fun :). Wednesday night I went down to Eugene to pick up Yuka, Hitomi, Asato, and Kale. I met Kale for the first time, and he was a cool dude. Then thursday Thanksgiving! I had so much fun having Cher, Angela, and Kelly over! I think they had a lot of fun too. It was really nice having them there. After that, dropped some people off, picked up others, and all together Jenny, Cher, their Korean friend, Yuka, Asato, Hitomi, Kale, and I all went down to Woodburn for black friday shopping. Yes, thursday night we went. We left PSU at around 11 pm, were about 4 miles away at 1130, and FINALLY got to Woodburn at 2am. CRAZY!! We didn't stay too long, but it was still fun. The only thing I bought was a sandwich at subway ha ha. After that we went straight from there to Washington Square Mall. That was interesting. We all split up, and I just looked around for a while. I got a hot chocolate at starbucks, looked around, and bought a game for 5 bucks. Then I took a nap while everyone else was still shopping. We were there for like 5 hours...

After that took people home, took a nap, and went to work. Work the next day too, and then hung out with Yuka and them some more after work on Saturday, and got to show them Pittock Mansion and Rocky Butte. That was really nice. After that, at about 11, I took them back home down to eugene. When we arrived, I had planned to come right back, but I was so tired that I just stayed there, and came back on sunday. After that went to church, and then got to hang out with Jeff and Phil, playing AoE Conquerors!! Booya!

And during all this, took care of the brown's cats and dogs :P

Crazy but fun!!
